Hi, I’m Gerald – a German engineer by education and a passionate leadership coach and change facilitator. Think of me as your travel guide to leadership success.
Living in Germany, Australia, and now Shanghai, I’ve worked with leaders worldwide. My journey started with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, followed by a role at Daimler in Stuttgart in 1991. Early on, I joined Dieter Zetsche’s change management team before he became CEO, sparking my deep dive into culture change, leadership coaching, and OD.
I’ve been privileged to learn directly from some of the best minds in the field, including Edgar H. Schein, David Kantor, Larry Hirschhorn, Wolfgang Looss, Hans Jellouschek, Claus Otto Scharmer, Matthias Varga von Kibéd, and Richard Timel .
In 1999, I co-founded deloop management consulting in Stuttgart, followed by deloop.Asia in 2015. Over the years, I’ve coached leaders and teams across cultures in companies like Daimler, BMW, Porsche, VW, Lufthansa, Rolls Royce, Deutsche Bahn, Evonik, Heraeus, and many more.
I’m also the author of 'International Change Management' - the official student textbook used at the Euro-FH University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg. All course content here is rooted in this academic foundation and adapted to real-world application.
My executive programs include the Hernstein General Management Program in Vienna, Corporate Entrepreneurship in China in Shanghai, and APAC projects with ICG and with OSB International.
